Minnesota's Northern Lights- a part of Miss America's Little Sisters Mentoring Program introduces young ladies, ages 5 through 12, to the Miss Minnesota and Miss America Organizations before they reach competition age. This program helps young ladies understand that Miss America is not just a dream, but something they can begin preparing for at a young age. It allows them to work closely with the Miss Minnesota candidates who serve as role models and mentors through appearances, volunteer events, and service within their communities and state.
