Checked off "author" on my bucket list. In the Winter of 2022, I published my first children's book, Believe, Bella.

Along the way, Bella helps her friend Stella put her pep back in her step as she learns the counts of her ballet routine, putting Bella's mission to its test!

In Spring of 2023, I made my second debut as an author with Exhale, Ella, written in connection to the #ExhaleProject

Exhale, Ella is a story of an exquisite Elephant named Ella who educates everybody on what it looks like to have a positive growth mindset. Derived from the quote, "Inhale the positives, exhale the negatives," Ella explores positive words and how she embraces each in her daily life and can encourage others how to do the same!

STRONG, SOX

In the summer of 2024, I released my third children's book, Strong, Sox. The main character, Sox, is inspired by my fluffy furball, and her journey is parallel to my passion for being a middle-school mathematics teacher as well as navigating and finding triumphs through trials and tribulations.

Strong, Sox is the story of a smart gray Persian cat named "Sox" who joins her school's math team. With the help of her friend Bean, she diligently works to find success as she struggles to solve equations and prepares for her next meet. Recognizing her inner strength, she perseveres and triumphs by believing in herself through her trials and tribulations.

In Winter of 2025, I published my fourth children's book, Whishful, Winnie, which came to fruition from my own journey of training for my first half-marathon. Utilizing goal-setting while consistently reevaluating based on set-backs & success!

Winnie, a playful black golden doodle with big dreams, longs to prove his speed and spirit in a thrilling doggy race. With the help of his clever and supportive best friend, Salt—a charming white cat with blue eyes and a knack for planning—Winnie trains tirelessly, learning to overcome self-doubt and embrace every stumble as a step forward. Together, they discover that friendship, determination, and a dash of fun make every dream possible, culminating in an unforgettable race that’s as much about the journey as the finish line.

GRATEFUL, GIBBY

In the spring of 2026, I released my fifth children's book, Grateful, Gibby. The main character, Gibby, is inspired by Facebook Marketplace find kitty, whom I truly am grateful for. In honor of my person best friend, Bailie, a former Miss Waseca County Sleigh & Cutter, it only made sense for her puppy Dunkin' to be the best friend of Gibby's in this story.

Gibby, a kind and busy white Persian cat with a perfectly tied bow, spends his days helping everyone around him, but begins to feel something is missing inside. When his cheerful friend Dunkin’ and a classroom gratitude project encourage him to slow down, Gibby learns to notice the small, meaningful moments he once overlooked. Through reflection, friendship, and simple “thank-yous,” he discovers that true joy isn’t something to chase; it’s found in appreciating life as it is. In the end, Gibby realizes that gratitude can turn even the smallest moments into something truly magical.
